People have a right to freedom of movement, and bicycles are absolutely crucial tools for building strong, self-sufficient people and communities. However, quality bikes are not always as accessible and affordable as they should be.

FRēBIKE aims to restore and maintain high-quality used bikes and get them underneath the people who need them. We are not profit-seeking and our ultimate goal is to build a community asset of shared bicycles, tools, skills, and knowledge.

We love to ride, we love to see other people ride, and we love to help people discover what they’re capable of when they have the right tools. Bring us your broken bike and we’ll get you rolling again for minimal cost. Donate your old unused bikes and we’ll fix them up and get them back on the road for the people who need them most. We’ll even walk you through how to do your own maintenance and repairs, so you can ride until the wheels fall off, then fix those wheels and keep riding!
